The Eylar 22" large hard carry-on case is perfect for protecting camera equipment and drones during travel. External dimensions are 22" x 13.81" x 9" and internal dimensions are 19.75" x 11" x 7.6", fitting standard overhead compartments and meeting TSA requirements. Constructed from high-pressure polypropylene plastic, this IP67-rated waterproof and shock-resistant case includes four layers of customizable foam, roller travel wheels, a retractable pull handle, and a pressure equalization valve. It features two padlock adaptable hasps, secure snap latches, and can withstand extreme temperatures (-20"F to 140"F). Backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
Airline carry-on size: how the 22" roller camera case measures up
Most US airlines allow one carry-on of 22" x 14" x 9" including wheels and handle. This case measures 22" x 13.81" x 9", so it fills that envelope exactly and fits the overhead bin on those carriers. It weighs 14.6 lb empty, which is the trade-off for a polypropylene shell and four foam layers: US carriers rarely weigh a carry-on, but some international airlines cap cabin bags at 15–22 lb, so weigh the packed case before a long-haul flight. If it has to be checked instead, the IP67 seal, pressure equalization valve and two padlock-ready hasps mean the camera kit is protected either way.
- Exterior 22" x 13.81" x 9" against the common 22" x 14" x 9" carry-on limit
- Interior 19.75" x 11" x 7.6" — two pluck-and-pull layers for bodies, lenses, a drone or tools, with an egg-crate lid liner on top
- 14.6 lb empty; roller wheels and a retractable handle carry the weight through the terminal
- Two padlock-ready hasps take TSA-recognized locks; the valve equalizes pressure after landing
